Consent to Receive Marketing and Information Communications

By ticking the separate optional box "Send me property selections and news" in a form on housebook.global or its subdomains (the "Site"), or by confirming my subscription via the link in an email, I freely, of my own will and in my own interest give HOUSEBOOK INVESTMENT L.L.C. my consent to receive marketing and information communications and to the processing of my personal data for that purpose on the terms below. I confirm that I am at least 18 years old.

This consent is optional and is not a condition for handling my request, receiving a consultation or entering into any contract. It is given separately from my consent to the processing of personal data for contacting me about my request, the Privacy Policy and the Site Terms of Use.

1. Controller and sender

HOUSEBOOK INVESTMENT L.L.C., a limited liability company registered in Dubai (UAE), commercial licence No. 1061992 issued by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism; TRN 104558732400003; address: Office 2502-01, Marina Plaza Tower, Al Marsa Street, Dubai Marina, Dubai, UAE (the "Controller"). 2. What I will receive

Property selections, real estate market news and analytics, and information on new projects, offers, events and webinars of the Controller, its affiliate HOUSEBOOK REAL ESTATE L.L.C., developers and partners of the Controller. Partner materials are sent by the Controller itself; my data is not passed to partners for their own mailings.

Channels: using the contact details I provided on the Site or to the Controller:

• email;
• SMS to my phone number;
• messages in WhatsApp and Telegram linked to my phone number or the user name I provided;
• phone calls by the Controller's staff, as well as automated calls and voice messages, including by automatic dialling and speech synthesis;
• browser push notifications, if I have subscribed to them.

Calls and SMS are made between 9:00 and 21:00 my local time, if known, otherwise Dubai time. Frequency: no more than 7 messages a week per channel.

I may opt out of any individual channel while keeping the others (Section 8).

3. Data processed

• name;
• email address;
• phone number;
• messenger user names;
• language, country and type of property I indicated in my request, to tailor the materials;
• information on delivery and reading of messages, clicks on links in them and call outcomes;
• date, time and method of giving consent, version of this text, IP address; date and method of unsubscribing.

4. Purposes

• sending me marketing and information communications (for Russian citizens: art. 18 part 1 of Federal Law No. 38-FZ of 13.03.2006 "On Advertising");
• tailoring materials to my interests;
• measuring the effectiveness of communications;
• keeping records of consents and unsubscribes, including in the mailing service, so that no communications are sent to me after I unsubscribe.

5. Processing operations

Collection, recording, organisation, accumulation, storage, updating, retrieval, use, transfer (provision, access) to the persons listed in Section 6, blocking, erasure and destruction, with and without automated means.

6. Processors acting on the Controller's behalf

• Unisender Smart LLC (Russia): email and SMS delivery;
• MTT JSC (MTS Exolve service, Russia), VoxAI L.L.C-FZ (Voice-Tele service, UAE), LPT LLC (LPTracker service, Russia), Twilio Inc. (USA): SMS, calls, automated calls and voice messages;
• Wazzup LLC (Russia) and Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business Platform, USA), Telegram: messenger messages;
• Google LLC (Firebase and Google Cloud services): storage of the consent record, hosting region Singapore;

7. International transfers

I have been informed that the Controller is located in the UAE and the data is stored and processed in Singapore, the USA and Russia, and I agree to such transfer. The UAE and the USA are not on the Russian list of countries ensuring adequate protection of the rights of data subjects, so the level of protection of my rights there may differ from that established by Russian law.

8. Term and unsubscribing

This consent remains valid until withdrawn. I may unsubscribe entirely or from an individual channel at any time without giving reasons: via the "Unsubscribe" link in every email; by replying "STOP" to an SMS or messenger message; by saying so during a call (for an automated call, by pressing the indicated key); by unsubscribing from push notifications in the browser settings; or by writing to vf@housebook.ae with the subject "Unsubscribe" and stating the channel. The Controller stops sending communications immediately upon receipt of my request.

After I unsubscribe, the data processed for communications is destroyed within 30 (thirty) days. My email address with an unsubscribe flag and the record of my consent and withdrawal are kept for 3 (three) years to prevent repeated mailings and to demonstrate compliance. Unsubscribing does not affect the handling of my request or my consent to the processing of personal data for contacting me about it.

9. My rights

I may obtain information about the processing of my data, request its rectification, blocking or erasure, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority or a court. The Controller responds to requests within 10 (ten) business days, which may be extended by no more than 5 (five) business days with notice of the reasons.

10. Applicable law

If I am a citizen of the Russian Federation, Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data" (art. 1 part 1.1) applies to the processing of my data and Federal Law "On Advertising" applies to the communications. If I am not a citizen of the Russian Federation, the processing is governed by UAE law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the rules of my country on marketing communications.
